About The Course

The Stoma Care course is designed to provide an understanding of stoma care for those supporting individuals with an output stoma. Learners will gain the knowledge and practical skills required to safely and effectively support individuals with a colostomy, ileostomy and urostomy stoma.

Learners must demonstrate a willingness to learn and participate in all group activities, case studies and group discussion.
All learners will receive a certificate of completion
3 hours over a 1 day period, typical course times are 0930-1630.
The course can be delivered at locations to suit the client
A maximum of 15 learners per trainer are allowed
