About The Course

The Mental Health and Mental Illness course provides an understanding of mental health and mental illness to those working within the health and social care sector. The course provides learners with an understanding of the difference between mental health and mental illness and how to recognise some of the signs and symptoms associated with poor mental health and mental illness.

Learners must demonstrate a willingness to learn and participate in all group activities, case studies and group discussions.
All learners will receive a certificate of completion
3 Hour and 6 hour course times, typical course times are 0930-1630.
The course can be delivered at locations to suit the client
A maximum of 15 learners per trainer are allowed
