About The Course

The Medication Management course is designed to be an introduction to the safe handling of medicines within the health and social care sector. Learners will gain an understanding of the law that governs the management of medication and the limitations of the care worker/support worker role with medication. The course focuses on the prompting, supporting and administering of medication from monitored dosage systems and original packaging.

Learners must demonstrate a willingness to learn and participate in all group activities, case studies and group discussions.
All learners will receive a certificate of completion
3 Hours, typical course times are 0930-1630.
The course can be delivered at locations to suit the client
A maximum of 15 learners per trainer are allowed
