About The Course
The Continence Care course provides learners with an understanding of the different types of incontinence, including urinary and faecal, and issues surrounding them.
Learners will gain knowledge and skills on promoting continence, seeking treatment for incontinence where possible and managing the issue through different aids. This course also creates an awareness of the importance of promoting dignity whilst delivering continence care.
Learners must demonstrate a willingness to learn and participate in all group activities, case studies and group discussions.
All learners will receive a certificate of completion
3 Hours, typical course times are 0930-1630.
The course can be delivered at locations to suit the client
A maximum of 15 learners per trainer are allowed
