About The Course

The Awareness of Suicide course is designed for those supporting individuals who may be at risk of attempting suicide. This course provides learners with an understanding of the risk factors for suicide and how to recognise possible indicators. Learners will gain the knowledge and skills to put in place preventative measures and where to seek emergency assistance in the event of a suicide attempt.

Learners must demonstrate a willingness to learn and participate in all group activities, case studies and group discussion.
All learners will receive a certificate of completion
6 hours over a 1 day period, typical course times are 0930-1630.
The course can be delivered at locations to suit the client
A maximum of 15 learners per trainer are allowed
