About The Course
The Awareness of Self Harm course is designed to provide those working with individuals who self harm or are at risk of doing so, with the knowledge and skills required to support individuals with a positive and proactive approach. The course creates an understanding of the different types of self harm and the reasons why individuals may self harm, in an effort to provide appropriate support.
Learners must demonstrate a willingness to learn and participate in all group activities, case studies and group discussions.
All learners will receive a certificate of completion
3 Hours, typical course times are 0930-1630.
The course can be delivered at locations to suit the client
A maximum of 15 learners per trainer are allowed
